Terms of Purchase

1. Introduction

These Terms of Purchase (“Terms”) govern all purchases of products—including handbags, wallets, business cases, travel accessories, apparel, shoes, and watches—from Dooneyd’s official website (“Website”). By placing an order on the Website, you (“Customer”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as Dooneyd’s Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy (all available on the Website). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not purchase products from the Website.

2. Order Placement & Acceptance

2.1 Order Submission

To place an order, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information, including your shipping address, contact details, and payment information. You warrant that all information provided is true and that you have the legal right to use the payment method selected. Upon submitting an order and completing payment, you will receive an order confirmation email with a unique order number—this confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance.

2.2 Order Acceptance

Dooneyd reserves the right to accept or reject any order in its sole discretion. Order acceptance occurs only when:
  • We verify the availability of the ordered products;
  • We confirm the validity of your payment;
  • We issue a shipping confirmation email (indicating your order has been processed and dispatched).
If your order is rejected (e.g., due to out-of-stock items, payment errors, or prohibited delivery destinations), we will notify you via email and refund any amount you have paid within the timeframe specified in Section 7.

3. Product Information & Pricing

3.1 Product Details

Dooneyd strives to ensure that all product descriptions, images, dimensions, and specifications on the Website are accurate. However, we do not warrant that such information is error-free, and slight variations may occur (e.g., product color differences due to device display settings). If you receive a product that differs materially from its description, contact our customer service team to resolve the issue per Section 7.

3.2 Pricing & Currency

  • All product prices on the Website are quoted in United States Dollars (USD). Prices include applicable taxes (where required by local law) but exclude customs duties, import taxes, or other fees for international shipments (see Section 5.3).
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice. However, the price charged for your order will be the price displayed at the time you submit your order (provided the product is in stock and payment is processed successfully).
  • Promotional discounts, coupon codes, or limited-time offers must be applied at checkout to be valid. Only one discount code may be used per order, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

If your payment is declined, your order will not be processed, and you will need to update your payment details or select an alternative method to proceed.

4.3 Payment Security

Dooneyd does not store your full payment details. All payment data is transmitted securely via SSL/TLS encryption and handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

5. Shipping & Delivery

5.1 Order Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) from the date of payment confirmation. During peak periods (e.g., holiday seasons, sales events), processing time may be extended by 1–2 business days, and we will notify you via email if significant delays occur.

5.2 Global Free Shipping

Dooneyd offers free shipping for all orders worldwide, with no minimum order value required. This benefit applies to all products (including customized/personalized items) and all eligible delivery destinations (as confirmed during checkout). No additional shipping fees will be added to your order total.

5.3 Delivery Timeline

After your order is processed and shipped, delivery typically takes 6–12 business days from the date of shipment. This timeline is an estimate and may be extended by factors beyond our control, including customs clearance delays (for international shipments), weather conditions, or local courier disruptions.

5.4 Customs, Duties, & Taxes

For international shipments, your order may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by the destination country’s customs authorities. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or covered by Dooneyd’s free shipping benefit. We recommend contacting your local customs office before placing an order to understand potential charges.

6. Returns

6.1 Return Eligibility

You may return any product purchased from Dooneyd within 60 calendar days from the date of delivery, provided that:
  • The product is unused, undamaged, and in its original condition (including all tags, labels, and packaging);
  • The product is not a personalized/customized item (e.g., monogrammed wallets, engraved watches) or marked as “Final Sale” on the product page (unless the item has a manufacturing defect).

6.2 Return Process

To initiate a return:
  1. Contact customer service via email ([email protected]) or through your Dooneyd account, providing your order number, product name, and reason for return.
  1. After your return request is approved, we will send a prepaid return label (free of charge, as part of our global shipping benefit) and instructions for packing the product.
  1. Ship the product to the specified return address within 7 business days of receiving the return approval. Retain the return tracking number for reference.

6.3 Return Inspection

Upon receiving the returned product, Dooneyd will inspect it within 2–3 business days to confirm it meets the eligibility conditions. If the inspection is passed, we will process the refund per Section 7. If the product fails inspection (e.g., signs of wear, missing tags), we may reject the return and return the product to you at your expense.

7. Refunds

7.1 Refund Eligibility

Refunds are issued in the following cases:
  • Approved returns (per Section 6);
  • Cancelled orders (if cancelled before shipment or rejected by Dooneyd);
  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect products (verified by Dooneyd).

7.2 Refund Timeline & Method

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after the returned product passes inspection (or after order cancellation/rejection is confirmed).
  • Refunds are issued in USD (matching the original payment currency) and credited back to your original payment method. The time for the refund to appear in your account varies by provider: 3–7 days for credit cards, 1–3 days for PayPal.

7.3 Refund Amount

  • For eligible returns, the full product purchase price (in USD) will be refunded.
  • Shipping costs are not applicable (due to global free shipping), so no deductions for shipping will be made.
  • Promotional discounts applied to the original order will be reflected in the refund amount (e.g., if a \(100 wallet was purchased with a 10% discount, the refund will be \)90).

8. Order Cancellations

8.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellations

You may cancel your order at any time before it is shipped by contacting customer service via email ([email protected]) or your account portal. If your cancellation is approved, we will process a full refund (in USD) within 5–10 business days. Once your order has been shipped, you must follow the return process (Section 6) to receive a refund.

8.2 Dooneyd-Initiated Cancellations

Dooneyd may cancel an order if:
  • The product is out of stock or discontinued after order placement;
  • We cannot verify your payment or shipping information;
  • The order violates these Terms or applicable laws.
In such cases, we will notify you via email and issue a full refund within 5–10 business days.

9. Product Defects & Warranty

9.1 Defective Products

If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect (e.g., broken zippers on business cases, faulty watch movements, unstitched seams on apparel) within 60 days of delivery, contact customer service immediately with photos/videos of the defect. We will arrange for a free replacement or a full refund (in USD), with no requirement to return the defective product (unless requested by our team).

9.2 Warranty Information

Selected Dooneyd products (e.g., watches, leather handbags) come with a limited warranty (details displayed on individual product pages). The warranty covers manufacturing defects for a specified period (e.g., 1 year for watches) and does not cover damage from improper use, negligence, or normal wear and tear.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dooneyd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your purchase—including but not limited to loss of use, inconvenience, or missed events. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the affected product (in USD).
This limitation does not apply to damages caused by Dooneyd’s gross negligence, fraud, or violation of applicable laws.

11. Changes to These Terms

Dooneyd may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in laws, business practices, or customer needs. When changes are made:
  • We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document;
  • We will post the revised Terms on the Website;
  • For material changes (e.g., adjustments to refund timelines or shipping policies), we will notify you via email (sent to your registered email address) or a pop-up notice on the Website at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Website or placement of orders after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
